Required Class Supplies:

  • Pens/Pencils
  • Paper
  • Folder
  • Dividers

 

Expectations:

  • Always come to class on time, prepared, and ready to work.
  • Respect others, the classroom, and yourself.
  • Speak nicely – this is a safe room.

 

Guidelines for Success:

  • All school rules apply and will be enforced in the classroom.
  • Respect for self, respect for school, and respect for others.
  • Classroom expectations are posted in the classroom. Students are accountable for adhering to all written, posted expectations and guidelines. Students who do not adhere to expectations will receive one verbal warning before further consequences (seat change, parent notification, detention, etc.) are given; the third offense may receive a referral.

 

Grading Policy:

  • Daily work – 8-10 assignments per nine weeks
  • Test – 4 per nine weeks

 

Late Arrivals:

  • Student’s late to class will be marked tardy.

 

Late Work Policy:

  • Work which is not submitted on the date it is due will receive a grade no higher than 70. Students will be able to turn in late work until the end of a progress report or nine-weeks grading period (whichever comes first). 

 

Make-up Work Policy:

  • Students who are absent and miss class work have one day (for each day missed) to turn in the missed assignment for full credit. Work turned in after the second day will be accepted as late work and will be graded according to the late work policy.
