Education

Educational History:

I graduated from Spurger High School in 2002.

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2006.

Degrees and Certifications:

Bachelors of Science-Interdisiplinary Studies

4-8 Science Certification

4-8 Generalist Certification

Professional Development:

I attend numerous professional conferences each year.  CAST is one of my favorites. I also attend a GT training each year.

Current Position:

I started teaching at Hudson Middle School in August 2006.  I teach 8th Grade Science and 7th Grade Robotics.

Previous Position:

While in college, I was a student laboratory instructor for chemistry and physics.

Family Information:

I have been married since 2006.  My son Tucker attends Hudson High School and my daughter Addison attends Hudson Middle School.  

Personal Information:

Giraffes are my favorite animal and I have quite a collection! I also am a self proclaimed "rock nerd" and enjoy collecting different types of rocks, minerals, and crystals.  I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with my family!
