I started at Hudson Middle School in 2015. I taught 6th grade Science and 7th grade ELAR for 3 years and started my current position as Middle School Media Specialist in 2018.
I previously taught 1st grade at William B. Travis Elementary in Marshall ISD.
I completed my student teaching in 5th grade English Language Arts and Reading at Brownsboro Intermediate School in Brownsboro ISD.
My husband and I have been married since 1996. He teaches choir at Trinity ISD.
We have 5 children.
I am the oldest of 6 children. Most of my family still lives in Washington state, so many of our vacations are to visit family there. I also loved visiting New York City with my husband and hope to travel there again soon.
I love Reading, especially action/thrillers, mysteries, and biographies. My favorite authors are David Baldacci, John Grisham, and Sue Grafton.
I also love theatre and enjoy reading and watching plays and musicals. I was a theatre geek in high school and love helping out with the shows that my husband directs. Most of our kids are involved in theatre too.
