My school counseling career with Hudson Middle School began in 2018.

My career in education began in 1997 as a Social Studies and English Language Arts teacher with West Sabine ISD.  I also taught English and World History at Central Heights High School for four years.  I took a break from education and spent two years as a juvenile probation officer for Nacogdoches County before taking time off to be a stay at home mom to my daughter and son.  I was blessed to be a stay at home mom for four and a half years. I returned to education in 2011 as a Social Studies teacher with Broaddus ISD, and spent five years with Huntington ISD as a school counselor.

I am blessed to be married to my husband Matt since December 2020 and am mom to my daughter Sidney and my son Weston, as well as stepmom to my bonus children Sutton and Rainey. Sutton and Rainey graduated from Hudson High School in 2017 & 2020 respectively, and Sidney will graduate from Hudson High School in 2023 and Weston in 2025.  We have four dogs named Roxy, Olive, Sadie and Cici and one cat named Sage.
