I started teaching in 2009. I taught in the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities at Herty Primary School in Lufkin. Later I taught Adaptive Behavior at Lufkin Middle School. I was a special education aide for 14 years prior to receiving my degree and beginning my teaching career.
I have been married to Ross Kay since 2012. Together we have 8 adult children and 7 grandchildren.
My husband and I are members of St. Patrick Catholic Church and sing in the church choir. I am Recording Secretary for Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Ladies of LaSalette #2777.
