HMS Soccer – Spring 2021

Hudson Middle School Soccer Program

When: Starts, April 19, 2021 3:45 - 5pm, Monday and Tuesday; Scrimmages or games on Thursday (depending on opponent availability)

Cost: $30, to buy you a uniform shirt, shorts, and socks. In order to get the uniforms in on time, we need the attached order form returned on or before Monday, March 29 to Coach Meisel, Coach Lillard, or the front office. The uniform will be yours to keep at the end of the season. 

• If you already have soccer gear (i.e. cleats/shin guards/etc.) please bring them, IF you do not: you will need shin guards before the first scrimmage 

Where: High School Soccer field (we have turf, tennis shoes will work on it)

Who: Any 7th and 8th grade boy or girl 

• No prior playing experience required
• This is NOT an 8th grade tryout for the high school team
• Grades and teacher evaluations will help us make important decisions
  • This program will be run very closely to the expectations we hold for our high school athletes. That means not being at the practices, failing classes, and negative teacher input can have an impact on your participation in the program. 

When and who: April 22, 29, May 6, 13 (Opponents to be determined)

• We will play intrasquad scrimmages on any date where we can not find another school to play (scrimmages against ourselves)
• You must be present at all practices leading up to the scrimmages/games in order to participate in them.
